Position Overview
The role holder maintains facility cafeterias, restrooms, locker rooms, laundry rooms, and office areas. Furthermore, they perform additional cleaning tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- General Sanitation Duties: Perform sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping, hosing down, vacuuming, laundry tasks, and safe compressed air use.
- Procedures & Compliance: Follow set sanitation schedules, adhere to safety procedures, and document compliance meticulously while managing safety data sheets for cleaning chemicals.
- Facility Maintenance: Clean sinks, collect office trash, restock paper towel dispensers, and conduct weekly wash pit cleanings.
- Safety & Pest Control: Conduct weekly inspections of rodent traps and participate actively on the Blood-Borne Pathogen team.
- Stockroom & Kitchen Upkeep: Keep storage shelves clean, organize deliveries, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and dispose of trash properly.
- Cross-Functional Support: Fill in for absent sanitation staff, assist production areas when requested, and handle odd jobs assigned by the supervisor.
