Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding and fabrication tasks across hotel facilities in accordance with safety and quality standards.
- Repair and maintain metal structures, fixtures, furniture, and equipment as required.
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance team to ensure timely completion of assigned work orders.
- Operate welding tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on welded components and materials.
- Assist with general engineering duties and respond to maintenance requests from other departments.
- Uphold workplace safety and hygiene standards while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Certified qualification in welding or a related technical field.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and safety compliance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
- Must reside in Doha, Qatar, or be able to transfer with valid support.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
- Attention to detail and precision in fabrication and finishing.
