Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
- Set up welding machines and adjust basic parameters (wire, tips, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication
- Inspect welded parts using visual checks and measurement tools
- Clean welds using grinders and remove excess material
- Place finished parts on conveyors or designated racks
- Track daily production and maintain accurate records
- Report equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance teams
- Monitor material levels and communicate shortages
Requirements
- Basic MIG welding experience (training or school experience accepted)
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Welding certification from a trade school or similar program
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in the welding field
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
