Raqtan is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join its Miran Factory team in Dammam 2nd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities
As a Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing TIG welding on stainless steel and sheet metal components (SS 304/316)
- Welding and assembling metal parts with varying thicknesses (0.06 to 5 mm)
- Operating TIG welding machines efficiently and safely
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Adjusting welding parameters based on material thickness requirements
- Performing preventive maintenance on welding equipment
- Using hand tools such as grinders, buffing wheels, and tip grinders
- Carrying out surface finishing using consumables like sandpaper
- Identifying welding issues and troubleshooting solutions
- Assisting engineers with welding quality improvements and technical issues
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Diploma or certificate in Welding (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Experience in TIG welding in a factory or manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate in English
- Familiarity with welding stainless steel materials
- Transferable Iqama (for applicants in Saudi Arabia)
