Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, your role will involve ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers, staff, and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-level customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
- Patrolling assigned areas and monitoring site activity to prevent risks and incidents.
- Controlling and monitoring access points to ensure site security.
- Responding promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Conducting risk assessments and taking proactive steps to manage threats.
- Preparing accurate incident reports and maintaining detailed security logs.
- Demonstrating strong situational awareness and vigilance at all times.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Current Security Licence with Crowd Control certification (essential).
- Control Room Licence.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to work a rotating 4-on, 4-off roster with 12-hour shifts, including weekends and nights.
