Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish guest amenities, linens, and room supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hallways, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to the appropriate departments
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and report shortages
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on procedures and best practices
Requirements
- Previous experience as a room attendant or in hotel housekeeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
- Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English language proficiency
