Responsibilities
As an Inspector, the job holder is expected to take on senior operational and leadership responsibilities, including:
- Managing and directly supervising a team of Auxiliary Police Officers (APOs) for daily operations and major ground deployments
- Overseeing routine deployments as well as special operations and large-scale events
- Ensuring the welfare, morale, and administrative management of team members
- Conducting and managing aviation and installation security operations such as escorts of persons and aircraft, facility protection, anti-sabotage checks, and forgery detection
- Resolving operational issues and managing client relationships on the ground
- Managing projects, including technology initiatives and projects aimed at improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Supporting meetings and performing secretariat duties, including drafting meeting minutes and preparing presentation materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a supervisory or senior officer role within a uniformed sector
- Prior service as a senior officer in a police organization or as a commissioned officer in the Singapore Armed Forces is considered an advantage
