The resort operates charter houseboats, cabins, marina services, and recreational watercraft. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain houseboats, cabins, and resort accommodations to high standards
- Perform duties such as mopping, vacuuming, laundry, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and making beds
- Dust furniture, clean windows, blinds, and surfaces
- Restock guest amenities and supplies
- Remove and sort garbage, recycling, and linens
- Inspect rooms and report damages or maintenance issues
- Ensure all units are ready for guest check-in on time
- Assist guests with requests and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning products
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred)
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Eligible to work in Canada
