Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and staff spaces
- Perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain and care for floors through sweeping, polishing, and specialized techniques
- Restock supplies including toiletries, linens, and guest amenities
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors
- Handle industrial or deep cleaning tasks when required
- Follow safety procedures when using cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with other departments
- Assist in inventory control and housekeeping management tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles (preferred)
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of floor care techniques (polishing, waxing, carpet cleaning, etc.)
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning tools
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
