Responsibilities
As a Driver (MC Licence) with RFT, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods between key locations. Your duties include:
- Operating heavy combination vehicles across interstate and intrastate routes.
- Liaising with customers and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensuring all load restraints comply with National Load Restraint Guidelines.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintaining the cleanliness, fuel, and condition of assigned equipment.
- Adhering to time-sensitive delivery schedules while maintaining safety standards.
- Using RFT’s advanced driver safety systems and technology to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Valid MC Licence (essential).
- Minimum 12 months’ verifiable driving experience with a clean driving history.
- Strong understanding of load restraint and road safety regulations.
- Ability to work rostered weekends and overnight runs as required.
- Must pass a pre-employment medical, national police check, and have the right to work in Australia.
- Strong communication, reliability, and professionalism on the road.
