Responsibilities
As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth transportation and delivery operations. Your key responsibilities include:
- Operating company vehicles safely and professionally
- Transporting goods to assigned locations according to delivery schedules
- Loading and unloading goods carefully to prevent damage
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any issues
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed with proper documentation (delivery orders, invoices)
- Following road safety regulations, company SOPs, and customer site rules
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
- Communicating effectively with supervisors regarding delivery status or delays
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving vans or trucks
- Valid driving license and GDL (Goods Driving License)
- Appropriate licensing based on vehicle type:
- 3 Ton / 5 Ton: Driving License & GDL
- 40ft Trailer: E Driving License & GDL
- Ability to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adjust priorities based on business needs
- Strong commitment to completing deliveries successfully
- Willingness to work in Seksyen 23, Shah Alam
