Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties at various client locations as directed by management
  • Empty bins, remove rubbish, and manage recyclable materials appropriately
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor machines
  • Clean windows, including work at heights, using approved tools and safety practices
  • Remove dust, dirt, and debris from floors, walls, ceilings, fixtures, and surfaces
  • Apply appropriate cleaning chemicals to remove stains and maintain hygiene standards
  • Strip, wax, polish, and maintain floors when required
  • Clean and disinfect wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens
  • Conduct routine inspections and record cleaning and maintenance activities
  • Identify and report any damage, maintenance issues, or repair needs to management
  • Perform minor adjustments or basic repairs on cleaning equipment
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is required

Requirements

  • Minimum availability of 30 hours per week
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to start work as early as 7:00 AM
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks
  • Ability to travel within the Auckland region (travel and fuel costs covered)
  • Relevant cleaning experience preferred but not essential
