Responsibilities
- Analyzing and reviewing architectural and structural drawings related to stairs, landings, beams, and slabs to prepare plans and cost estimates.
- Developing shop drawings for formwork systems and ensuring compliance with the National Construction Code of Australia.
- Collaborating with project managers, clients, and internal teams to secure project approvals and ensure design accuracy.
- Determining construction methods and materials, organizing site labour, and assisting construction managers with scheduling and material delivery.
- Managing on-site coordination and supporting efficient execution of construction activities.
- Providing technical advice and solutions to clients and project stakeholders.
- Delivering final formwork designs that meet client requirements and comply with industry standards and company specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a civil or structural engineering role.
- Strong understanding of Australian construction codes and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively within a project team.
- Proficiency in CAD software and construction design tools is advantageous.
- Commitment to delivering quality results within deadlines.
