Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities and ensure residents’ comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Administer and document medications as per prescribed guidelines.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, mood, or behavior.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Personal Care Worker course or equivalent qualification.
  • Standard First Aid with CPR certification (required).
  • Medication module training (preferred).
  • Criminal record check must be provided before employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Personal Support Worker or Caregiver (preferred).
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and patience.
