Responsibilities
- Moreover Provide personal care and assistance with residents’ daily living activities.
- Support residents with mobility in accordance with individual care plans.
- Maintain accurate health and care documentation.
- Encourage resident participation in social and recreational activities.
- Moreover Contribute to creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, caregivers, and management teams.
Requirements
- NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate (Level 2–4) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or aged care experience is ideal.
- Moreover Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
- Genuine enthusiasm and compassion for elderly care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to quality care.
Skills
- Empathy and patience when supporting residents.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong observation and documentation skills.
