Responsibilities
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will perform a variety of daily tasks to ensure guest rooms and public areas remain clean, safe, and comfortable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving daily work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and signing the key log book accurately.
- Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
- Ensuring fire exits and stairways remain free from any obstruction.
- Reporting maintenance issues immediately to the appropriate department.
- Picking up litter from corridors and pathways.
- Vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, dusting and wiping furniture, and emptying ashtrays and wastebaskets.
- Making beds and thoroughly cleaning sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
- Polishing brass and metal surfaces when necessary.
- Replenishing bathroom amenities and room supplies for guests.
- Neatly arranging guest toiletries and performing spot cleaning on carpets when required.
- Maintaining cleanliness in guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
- Removing room service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
- Informing valet service to collect guest clothing for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing services.
Requirements
