Responsibilities
As a Plumber, your key duties will include:
- Fixing minor plumbing issues such as unclogging drains and repairing leaks.
- Assembling pipe sections, tubing, and fittings for installation.
- Filling pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect leaks.
- Studying building plans and reviewing blueprints, codes, and specifications for proper installations.
- Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to required angles.
- Installing and maintaining pipe assemblies, valves, fixtures, and appliances.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance on plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
- Following all company safety and security policies and reporting hazards or incidents.
- Maintaining professional communication and strong working relationships with colleagues and guests.
- Assisting with lifting, moving equipment, and completing additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of related plumbing experience.
- Valid Plumber Certification.
- Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License required.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical documents.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
