Responsibilities

As a Welder, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing welding operations using automatic processes such as SAW (Submerged Arc Welding), ESW (Electroslag Welding), and GTAW HW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding – Heavy Wall).
  • Executing semi-automatic welding processes, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), as needed.
  • Recording essential welding parameters using monitoring systems.
  • Inspecting component preparation and surface quality before welding; using grinding machines if necessary.
  • Identifying equipment malfunctions or material/welding defects and reporting them to supervisors.
  • Moving components manually or using forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and high-quality welding standards.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of welding experience in a similar industrial environment.
  • Availability to work in three shifts:
    • Shift 1: 6:00 – 14:00
    • Shift 2: 14:00 – 22:00
    • Night Shift: 22:00 – 6:00
  • Ability to work safely in a high-precision, regulated environment.

Skills and Desired Knowledge

  • Expertise in automated and semi-automatic welding techniques.
  • Ability to read welding specifications, technical drawings, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and safety protocols in industrial welding.
  • Competence in operating welding equipment and monitoring systems.
