Job Responsibilities
- Perform simple to complex welding and metal fabrication work according to work instructions
- Set up and weld high-temperature alloys for turbine blade repairs using the TIG welding process
- Carry out blending repairs on turbine blades
- Ensure product quality, proper equipment care, and adherence to production schedules
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work area
- Follow all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Leader
Job Requirements
- Completed Secondary level or higher education
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in a related field
- Basic ability to speak and read English
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts
Required Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
- Ability to work with high-temperature alloys
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures
- Good time management and teamwork skills
Desired Knowledge
- NITEC in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Prior experience in turbine blade repair or similar precision welding work
- Understanding of EHS standards and safe welding practices
- Knowledge of metal fabrication and blending repair techniques
