LIPTON Teas and Infusions is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Basic Machine Operator to support its manufacturing operations in Dubai. Responsibilities
Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ):
- Follow all health, safety, food safety, and environmental procedures to maintain a secure workplace.
- Understand material handling ergonomics and individual legal obligations.
- Support eco-efficient operations to reduce environmental impact and operational costs.
- Promote food safety and participate in hazard reporting processes.
- Monitor product quality, report faults, identify abnormalities, and take preventive actions.
- Conduct basic quality checks and maintain hygienic production conditions.
- Ensure machinery safety checks and CRQS are completed as scheduled.
Operations:
- Operate machinery according to instructions to maximize efficiency while meeting safety and quality standards.
- Set and monitor process parameters, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain machine and production line cleanliness following 5S standards.
- Perform minor machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and format changeovers.
- Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement projects to minimize production losses.
- Escalate safety, quality, or productivity issues promptly to the Manufacturing Coordinator or Team Leader.
- Work effectively with various manufacturing technologies and support additional operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with strong safety and quality standards and familiarity with GMP.
- At least 1 year of experience with teabag technologies (Perfecta, IMA), filling, overwrapping, and case packing is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a manufacturing team.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
