Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator in the Flexibles department, you will play a key role in ensuring the consistent production of high-quality plastic products that meet customer specifications. Your duties will include operating automated plastics extrusion, conversion, and recycling machinery, as well as manufacturing finished goods such as plastic bags and stretch film. You will also carry out basic machine maintenance, accurately complete process control documentation, and support efficient production processes. The role follows a rotating roster of 12-hour day and night shifts, working four days on and four days off.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have approximately 2–3 years of experience operating manufacturing machines. Applicants must possess unlimited working rights in Australia and be able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol examination. While experience in the plastics industry, particularly in blown film and exposure to HACCP, is desirable, it is not mandatory.
