Lineage is seeking a skilled and proactive Facility Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team in Singapore. This role is critical in ensuring that all facilities, systems, and equipment are safe, fully operational, and efficiently maintained. The technician will perform inspections, preventive and reactive maintenance, and oversee contractor activities, contributing directly to the smooth operation of Lineage’s cold storage and logistics network.

Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection, preventive, and reactive maintenance activities for facilities and equipment.
- Oversee maintenance work carried out by external contractors to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform maintenance and repair of Automated Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS), refrigeration systems, and warehouse/building facilities.
- Maintain building infrastructure, machinery, equipment, electrical works, cold room systems, and fittings.
- Conduct daily facility inspections to identify defects or potential issues.
- Perform minor repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance on materials handling equipment.
- Maintain and service Fire Detection Systems, Ammonia Plants, and Oxygen Reduction Systems.
- Follow workplace safety rules, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Work independently or as part of a maintenance team depending on assignment.
- Assist in completing preventive maintenance (PM) duties and checklists under the supervision of Maintenance Supervisor/Executive Facilities Maintenance.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Air-Conditioning Refrigeration Engineering.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various positions and cold conditions.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good awareness of workplace safety rules and safe work procedures.
- Hands-on experience in repair and maintenance of cold room systems, refrigeration units, compressors, evaporators, condensers, cooling towers, and other facility machinery.
Skills and Desired Knowledge
- Knowledge of ASRS, refrigeration systems, and warehouse infrastructure.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance efficiently.
- Familiarity with Fire Detection Systems, Ammonia Plants, and Oxygen Reduction Systems.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to manage work orders and coordinate with supervisors and team members effectively.
