Caregiver Jobs in Malaysia. Amitabha Foundation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a permanent, full-time role for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care, companionship, and support to elderly residents while enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and the use of assistive devices
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote residents’ mental and emotional well-being
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning residents’ rooms and common areas
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition
- Monitor residents’ physical and emotional condition and report changes to nursing staff
- Follow health, safety, and emergency procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards
- Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams
- Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and handovers
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, elder care, or a related role is preferred
- Experience assisting elderly or disabled individuals with daily living activities
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Willingness to attend ongoing training and professional development programs
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Certification in medication administration is an advantage
