Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and compliance
- Perform general maintenance work as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder (trade qualification preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Desirable: Forklift ticket and/or MR Licence
- Minimum one (1) year of welding experience
Skills
- MIG, TIG, or SMAW welding proficiency
- Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices
- Strong problem-solving and quality assurance skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
