NZ Pork is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Stockperson/Farm Labourer to join its pig farming operations in the Waimakariri District, Canterbury, New Zealand. Located approximately 45 minutes from Christchurch, this role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on farm work, animal care, and a varied working environment. The position involves working on a 300-sow indoor/outdoor pig farm, where no two days are the same.

Job Responsibilities
As a Stockperson/Farm Labourer, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of daily farm operations, including:
- Stock handling and feeding of pigs
- Artificial insemination (AI) mating
- Pen and paddock maintenance
- Water blasting and cleaning duties
- Feed milling and feed preparation
- Tractor driving and equipment operation
- Accurate record keeping
- Assisting with other farm duties as required
Requirements

- Proven or developing stock handling skills

- NZ residency or a valid New Zealand work visa
