Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure residents’ comfort and safety.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Administer and document medications as per prescribed guidelines.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, mood, or behavior.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Completion of a Personal Care Worker course or equivalent qualification.
- Standard First Aid with CPR certification (required).
- Medication module training (preferred).
- Criminal record check must be provided before employment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Personal Support Worker or Caregiver (preferred).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and patience.
