Responsibilities
- Design cost-effective, sustainable, and functional civil infrastructure for the community
- Prepare detailed tender documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and contract terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as landscape architects, surveyors, and project managers
- Provide technical advice and support across a variety of civil projects, including drainage, roadworks, and public spaces
- Ensure projects are designed to comply with environmental and legislative requirements
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Council’s engineering design standards and practices
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in the design and drafting of civil infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of stormwater drainage systems
- Proficiency in CAD and other design software tools
- Full working rights in Australia
